Emily and Alex had been dating for a few months, and things were going well. They were happy and in love, and they enjoyed spending time together. However, there was one aspect of their relationship that they hadn't yet explored: introducing each other to their families and friends.

Emily had a close-knit family, and she was nervous about how they would react to Alex. She had always been a bit of a black sheep in her family, and she worried that they wouldn't approve of her choice in partner.
